“When I moved to Arkansas in May 2018 I knew it was time to try something new in my fitness routine, which were strictly home-based workouts at the time. I joined our local Community Center where they offer fantastic fitness classes. During my second week of taking classes, I took R.I.P.P.E.D. with Master Trainer Kristy McElroy. I distinctly remember thinking, “What is this?” I remember being so out of breath and Kristy asking me if I was okay. I smiled at her and excitedly said, “yes!” While I was out of shape, I felt so powerful after just that one class. I felt like I had accomplished something amazing, just by finishing the class and not giving up, even though my lungs were bursting and my legs were burning. I KNEW I could do better and challenged myself to attend every R.I.P.P.E.D. class Kristy offered. Her positivity and encouraging attitude was also what made me come back consistently from then on.” –Alyssa Majeski

“I took my first R.I.P.P.E.D. class on February 1, 2018, and my first RUMBLE class a few weeks later. At the time, I was 11 months out from a breast cancer diagnosis, but I was also obese for over 20 years. During all that time NEVER jumped or ran because it was so uncomfortable. I began my weight loss journey shortly after my cancer diagnosis as a way to take back control over my life, but I still didn’t see myself getting into a fitness program beyond walking.

By January, however, my weight loss plateaued and I realized that I needed to try something different if I wanted to continue to get healthy and to regain the mobility that I lost. [R.I.P.P.E.D. Master Trainer] Jenna Moore was advertising a fitness challenge at her studio JAM Fitness and I signed up to begin my fitness journey. I didn’t know if I would be capable of if my body would let me participate in classes. But I was also really tired of being sick, overweight and out of shape. And most of all I was tired of all the self-limiting that I’d somehow come to accept as normal. While those first R.I.P.P.E.D. and RUMBLE classes were overwhelming, they were also extremely energizing and empowering. I was hooked! There were so many little improvements week to week, and just over 3 months after I started with JAM, I had an incredible realization one day that I regained full mobility in my arm. I’ve continued to gain strength, flexibility and endurance all year. And since getting to know the R.I.P.P.E.D. family and all of their wonderful support and encouragement, I’ve realized that I no longer see myself as “not.” To say that I’m profoundly grateful is a HUGE understatement! – Suzanne Lewis Mott

“The first time I did R.I.P.P.E.D. I felt amazing and powerful! Kristy McElroy freaking pushed our class and we had a blast! I knew becoming a R.I.P.P.E.D instructor was going to be right up my alley! I look forward to every Tuesday and Thursday!” – Christine Elizabeth Caswell

“I thought I was coordinated until my first R.I.P.P.E.D. class. I felt like an octopus that had no control of the arms in the Endurance section. I still remember the words of my mentor and friend, Tami Marie Barnwell. She said, “if you don’t get it, just keep moving.” I now I say that to my newbies. Now I feel powerful, strong and beautiful all at the same time!! –Kari Robinson

“I felt happy that I finished! I was so tired I slept 3 hours but the next day I had lower blood sugar and less neuropathy pain. My instructor said it only gets easier and she was right. I am addicted so much I changed my work schedule around it!” – Kelly-Brook Axford

Tanya Kakuk and her daughter

“The first time I did R.I.P.P.E.D. I felt like I was going to die! Actually, I felt proud that I was able to finish with very few modifications and the class was so good! I must not have hated it too much since I got certified less than 3 months later and am still teaching almost 3 years later along with RUMBLE!!” –Tanya Kakuk
