Happy Wellness Month #RIPPEDFamily! There’s so much going on in August with back to school planning, sending students off to college and squeezing in one last end of summer vacation or party. Is anyone thinking about wellness? We sure are! And we want to make it easy for you too.

As many of you know, R.I.P.P.E.D. is a wellness lifestyle that combines fitness and healthy eating habits to help you literally live your best life! R.I.P.P.E.D. pushes your body to levels that you probably thought were impossible to do. How? It’s all in our modifications in our workouts and motivation from our family. Whether R.I.P.P.E.D. is your first fitness class or you’ve been in the game for years, there’s a way that you can get a good workout without putting too much strain on your body. Experts can challenge themselves, while beginners can gradually challenge their body.

This is why R.I.P.P.E.D. is so inviting—we make fitness fun, which makes it much easier for you to stick to. We also want to make it easy for you to stay healthy during this busy time. Here’s our simple wellness plan.

Stick to the ‘D’

It may be the last letter in R.I.P.P.E.D., but it certainly isn’t the least. You know when they say abs are made in the kitchen—it’s true! Fitness and diet go hand-in-hand and complement one another. Meal planning will make this so much easier. To start you off, we often share R.I.P.P.E.D.-approved recipes in our R.I.P.P.E.D. Diet Center and on our Facebook page.

Practice Self-Care

This is one of the most essential aspects of wellness and is overlooked way too often.

There are many ways to practice self-care: exercise, mediation, healthy eating and more. But when you’re in the gym 5-7 days a week, rest and cheat days are acts of self-care as well. Allow your body to recuperate from your hard work and dedication in the gym. Here are a few simple ways to practice self-care:

  • Get a Massage
  • Take a relaxing bath filled with your desired essential oil
  • Go on vacation
  • Enjoy a movie or a book
  • Color in an adult coloring book
  • Enjoy family time
  • Take a nap
  • Do something that truly makes you happy

Attend Your Regular R.I.P.P.E.D. or RUMBLE Class

Attending R.I.P.P.E.D. or RUMBLE at least three times a week is enough to get your energy and your mood up for the week. Try to stick to a set routine so it becomes an easy habit. During every R.I.P.P.E.D. class try something new that will push your body to go a bit further. Ask you R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor for feedback after your class so you ‘re always aware of what moves you need to work on. And when you have spare time, practice at home to keep up momentum.
