Weight Loss Transformations Inside and Out: The R.I.P.P.E.D. Way!

Transformations are such a huge part of the success that R.I.P.P.E.D. family members experience.

If you’re on our Facebook page or interact with our Facebook group, you no doubt see the happiness and positive spirit that people share daily. R.I.P.P.E.D. family members talk so often about the benefits beyond the body. The mind and soul also get a quick boost in endorphins after a R.I.P.P.E.D. workout. Some will share that they’ve gained confidence and others say they’ve met friends for life in this program.

If you don’t believe us, come to a R.I.P.P.E.D. class or better yet, hit up the next Revival, where people gather from all over the country and spend three days together like it’s a family reunion. The opening reception of this year’s R.I.P.P.E.D. Revival felt like a wedding reception.   There were a lot of hugs from old friends, and hugs between new friends. Don’t get us started about the dancing!

But let’s get back to the physical aspects of R.I.P.P.E.D.. Whether it’s a size or two smaller or one less notch on the belt, nothing feels better than the satisfaction of burning fat and adding lean muscle.

We wanted to share your positive stories of success!

Jon Moore has experienced an incredible weight loss. He posted, “

This class has truly changed my wife and I’s life. Christmas time last year and then intoFebruary this year I was the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I don’t know what my starting weight was, but I had to have been pushing 270 and more. When we first started this class, I thought that there is no way that I can hang with these people. I was truly at the lowest point I had ever been. I had very little confidence in myself and could barely get up and down stairs without being out of breath. I was in a size 44 pants and honestly, they were getting tight on me. With some encouragement from my wife Kerri Moore we jumped in and changed our lifestyle. Thank you, Kristy McElroy, for your encouragement and positive words to push us to where we are today.‬”

Sheila Sinsay‪ was one of our dedicated “R.I.P.P.E.D. 2 Fit” challengers, and her results were amazing!

She says, “The R.I.P.P.E.D. Family has changed my life for the better. The R.I.P.P.E.D. 2 Fit Challenge was amazing! I didn’t think I’d ever have the courage to post my before pictures out into the world of Facebook, but I’m so proud of my results that I don’t care if you see what I looked like before, especially if it will help motivate others to take that first step in the right direction and take charge of their lives!

In just 6 weeks, I lost 10 pounds, 10 & 1/4 inches, 3.2% body fat, 3 pants sizes (I have a waist again – woo hoo!), and gained 1.3% muscle mass.”

Incredible numbers for sure.

But it gets better!

‬She followed up with news after a visit to the doctor. She said:

‪”I’m on cloud nine! Went to the doctor today and she was thrilled with my changes since she last saw me in May. I’m healthier now than I’ve ever been as an adult. I still have more work to do, but I’m headed in the right direction. The best part? There was a time my doctor considered putting me on cholesterol medicine… Now, she said there’s no pill out there that can produce better or even as good results as I just pulled! WOO-HOO! I can’t fully express how grateful I am for Amy Wilson who introduced me to the AMAZING & life-changing program that is R.I.P.P.E.D. and to Tina and Terry Shorter who created this wonderful program! R.I.P.P.E.D. Fitness – Family – Fun! And yeah, I’m bragging about it b/c I’m so proud of my hard work!

Here’s to the new me! Watch out world; I’m not stopping!”

‪- Weight down – check!‬

‪- Inches lost – check!‬

‪- Vitamin B levels no longer deficient – check!‬

‪- Vitamin D levels no longer deficient – check!‬

‪- Total cholesterol down – check! (down 18 points!)‬

‪- LDL cholesterol down – check! (down 10 points!)‬”

Bianca Daukei had an experience much like Sheila. She said, “My first R.I.P.P.E.D. class was on 01/23/2017. My weight was 228lbs… Everything was out of control healthy-wise. Per doctors orders, I stopped eating refined carbs, starches and sugars. Per doctors orders, I was supposed to workout and walk one hour a day every day. Per doctors orders, I was taking 8 prescriptions drugs a day.

I started walking on the treadmill at home. 5 minutes was enough to take my breath away but I kept walking like that for about a week. I went to the YMCA on a Saturday to see what I could do. I did body pump that day. Monday, 01/23/17, I went back and that was the first time I did R.I.P.P.E.D.

I had no idea of what to expect; had never heard of it. I took a chance at it, and it changed my life forever. My instructor, ‪Kari (Robinson) is the best. She is tough but she is the sweetest person ever. Her motivation kept me on my toes. She showed me the modified version of each section. “You got this, momma,” and “you can do this, momma,” and “just one more time, momma,” the best one is “you are in charge of your body” so I look at it and say “did you hear that legs? You CAN do this!”

Everyone would giggle but is the truth… we are in control of our body, not the other way around. My heart was about to come out of my mouth during intervals and plyo but I kept going, kept moving until it was over. Each milestone was a celebration to our class. I will never forget my first burpees… Lol. Today I have a beast living inside me who loves to workout. I lost 69 pounds since January. My weight is 159 today. I’m not on any medication. I eat all the right foods. My doctor was very proud of me on my last visit, speechless even, saying it is rare to see someone who gets off all medications and change their life like I did. He wants me to make a testimonial about my diet and exercise and show his patients they don’t need drugs to lose weight, there is a better way to stop medication and get healthy. The best part is I am on my way to get my R.I.P.P.E.D. Certification on 11/18/17 I Can’t Wait!!!“

We can’t wait for it either Bianca! Good luck this weekend with your certification.

Janice Carter Smith didn’t like the way she felt and a family health scare motivated her. She said, “Picture on the left was circa 2004. On the right? This summer on my way to my 40th high school reunion. I started my fitness journey in earnest in 2007 after my mother had open heart surgery. There is also a history of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol in my family. I had pre-diabetes symptoms and knew I needed to take charge of my health and my life! I lost about 50 pounds and started working out. Then I found R.I.P.P.E.D.! By the end of my first class, I thought I was gonna die! But I LOVED the format! I was hooked!! Then in 2014, I became an instructor at the age of 55! I love R.I.P.P.E.D. and also love to see your stories of your transformation!!

We are so excited for Bianca, Janice, Jon, and Sheila. We will continue to share these transformation stories. Do you have a story to tell?   Post it on our Facebook page or Facebook group – R.I.P.P.E.D. Fitness – Family – Fun or email us! You can reach us at RIPPEDfamily (at) gmail (dot) com.
