R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor Kim Price Talks About Balancing Fitness With Healthy Eating

#RIPPEDFamily, we’d like to introduce you to a very special person, Kim Price! In honor of our family reunion at California MANIA, we were on the hunt for people who were killing it in their R.I.P.P.E.D. and RUMBLE classes in California. We’re so glad Master Trainer Rossie Ballard brought this fitness gem to our attention.

If you don’t already know Kim, she is a R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor In-Training who is eager to help others reach their fitness goals through R.I.P.P.E.D. classes. She offered some great advice to people who feel defeated or doubtful in their fitness abilities.

Read her interview:

R.I.P.P.E.D.: What or who got you to your first R.I.P.P.E.D. class and when did you join the family?

Kim: Rossie Ballard convinced me to try R.I.P.P.E.D. two summers ago. I had never tried it before because I was scared I couldn’t do it. I still remember my first class. I couldn’t do the push-ups or burpees, but that was okay because we all start somewhere.

After my first class I was addicted, I loved it. I loved that in one workout I could do weights and the endurance. I was taking R.I.P.P.E.D. every chance I could get. Rossie is so encouraging. I became part of the R.I.P.P.E.D. family in February and I am so glad I did. It wasn’t until this year when I came off Rossie’s Grit Challenge and decided to do the R.I.P.P.E.D. Diet, (where I learned about macros and the last 10lbs) that I decided to sign up for both Rumble and R.I.P.P.E.D.  I’m currently shadowing Rossie at each R.I.P.P.E.D. class and loving it!

After losing about 70lbs over the last two years from doing R.I.P.P.E.D. classes, other workouts, and cleaning eating, I am 48 years old and in the best shape.

R.I.P.P.E.D.: How has R.I.P.P.E.D. impacted your life?
Kim: R.I.P.P.E.D. has impacted my life because I weighed 240 lbs. and had just started to eat clean and I was determined to lose my weight. After losing about 70lbs over the last two years from doing R.I.P.P.E.D. classes, other workouts, and cleaning eating, I am 48 years old and in the best shape. I’m healthier than I can ever remember. R.I.P.P.E.D. has made me be fierce. I now know I can do anything I put my mind too. I even started running again. I am signing up to run a Half Marathon at the beginning of April.

R.I.P.P.E.D.: YOU GO GIRL! So, what would you say to people who have a desire to live a healthier lifestyle but think it’s too hard?

Kim: I have learned that the key to losing all the weight is doing a great work out such as R.I.P.P.E.D., and meal prepping. The two work together so well. I know first hand that working out and clean eating can change their lives for the better.

R.I.P.P.E.D.: Willing you be attending SCW MANIA?
Kim: Unfortunately I can’t make it to the SCW Mania. I am a 3rd-grade teacher in Visalia and it falls close or during the beginning of school. But I would love to attend one really soon, just to meet all the fantastic instructors that I am friends with on Facebook. They are all so encouraging.

Despite all the different stories we’ve heard from our #RIPPEDFamily, we think it’s amazing that they have overcome their doubts and are now leading happier and healthier lives. That’s why we love sharing your stories. You never know who may be thinking the same things that used to run through your mind.

“I’m not strong enough.”

“I can’t keep up”

“I don’t have time’

But you are, you will and you do!

We have more family fitness inspiration on our blog, as well as all the details you need to know about our unofficial mini R.I.P.P.E.D. Revival California MANIA.
