Ripped Amateurs: Real Stories From Real People

Ripped Amateurs: Real Stories From Real People

First things first, we wanted to let our R.I.P.P.E.D. family know just how BLOWN AWAY we were with the overwhelming amount of love and support we have seen in regards to our previous R.I.P.P.E.D. Veterans Blog.

As we said before, when we sat down and took to the drawing board, we wanted to create something that would change people’s lives for the better, and we are humbled every day not only by the dedication of our R.I.P.P.E.D. family but also by the support within our community that drives us all to keep going living the healthiest and best lives we possibly can.

Over the past several years, Revival has given us the opportunity to connect with each and every single one of you on a deeper level.

This week, we would like to present to you a testimonial from R.I.P.P.E.D. family member Marcella Dobson, a dedicated member from Louisville, Kentucky. She is an avid marathon runner, and she loves trying new fitness pursuits.

Feel free to drop us a comment below letting us know how you can relate to Marcella’s story:

What are you looking forward to the most from Revival 2017?

Spending time with my wonderful RIPPED fit family.

How has R.I.P.P.E.D. changed your life for the better?

It’s difficult to express just how much R.I.P.P.E.D. has transformed me and made my life so much more fulfilled. When I started the program in fall 2014, I was in the back of the class and could barely keep up…. but the awesome music, challenging choreography, supportive classmates and “push outside your comfort zone” Master Trainer Amy Wilson made me want to keep coming back for more. R.I.P.P.E.D. has enabled me to become the strongest I’ve ever been in my life and to achieve goals and accomplish milestones I could have never imagined. And it challenges me to keep setting new goals!

I absolutely LOVE my R.I.P.P.E.D. life! #RIPPEDFamily

What are some of your fitness goals for this year?

To get stronger and keep progressing. Age is just a number it’s how you choose to spend your time learning and enhancing your skill set. One of my first fitness goals was to run a mini marathon again which I did in 2014. Coming up on year four and the Monumental has a 4-Year Medal Series which I’m excited about completing this year. With my RIPPED base, I know I can put up a great time maybe even a PR.

What are some of the results you have seen since starting with R.I.P.P.E.D.?

Self-confidence, strength, poise, and the courage and ability to try new things. If you had told me I would be lifting, I would have said no way. I work out with a sports performance group that is the extreme opposite of group fitness. Enjoy mixing it up and again having the courage and ability to try new fitness pursuits.

What was your first R.I.P.P.E.D. class and what did you love most about it?

Not sure I knew what I was getting into my first class but something about it must have been good cause I kept coming back for more.

What master trainers are you most excited to meet at this year’s Revival and why?

The master trainers are amazing, and they all have characteristics that make them special and unique. I’m going to enjoy spending time with them and learning first hand about their exceptional styles.
