Conquer Fear: R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructors React to Teaching Their First Class

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he ho conquers that fear.” -Nelson Mandela

#RIPPEDFamily and Future #RIPPEDFamily, how’s it going?!?!

One of our favorite things about R.I.P.P.E.D. is the support system that’s built within our #RIPPEDFamily. Whether someone is struggling with a fitness goal, need a quick guilt-free recipe or is just having an off day, the love and support pours in every time. As a family we celebrate one another’s victories, we offer words of encouragement and everyone knows we’re not afraid to get super silly.

Once we saw a recent message below from R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor, Bianca Daukei, it sparked instant inspiration. She bravely led her first solo R.I.P.P.E.D. class and despite possible butterfly in her stomach, she rocked it! This is all to say, fear is something that has the ability to hold us all back every once in a while. But with a little courage and belief in our strength, we can conquer that and work magic in our lives and the lives of others. Just know that many of our current instructors felt those butterflies before stepping in front of the class, but it’s super liberating once you demolish your first class—flaws and all

But you don’t have to take our word for it; we’ll let them tell you themselves. Take a peek at the reactions of some of our R.I.P.P.E.D. instructors after their first class.

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I just gave my first class SOLO. What? What? My beautiful mentor, Kari Robinson, had an important meeting out of town and it was up to me to step up and make sure our RIPPEDsters had their amazing workout. I DID IT!!!!!!! We did it together!!! I sort of messed up in endurance but I just started the track again and got it right the second time around. We finished it all sweaty and all smiles. I even forgot to strike a cool pose. I just love, loooooooove R.I.P.P.E.D. and what it does to each one of us.
