R.I.P.P.E.D. Veterans: Real Stories From Real People

When was the last time you sat down to really think about the true meaning of R.I.P.P.E.D. ?

When we sat down and took to the drawing board, we wanted to create something that would change people’s lives for the better.

Through health, dedication, and hard work, we have seen first hand the power of nutrition and exercise, and that’s what fueled us to create this beloved program that millions have attributed as the catalyst to their new and healthier lives.

Through the power of Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet, R.I.P.P.E.D as we know it was born.

At the end of that day, your smiling faces and riveting success stories are what keeps us going.

Over the past several years, Revival has given us the opportunity to connect with each and every single one of you on a deeper level.

We can sit here until our faces turn blue telling you the countless ways both R.I.P.P.E.D. and Revival has changed our lives, but who better than to tell their story than one of you?

The following is a true testimonial from R.I.P.P.E.D family member Lawrin Walker, a dedicated member of our community from Colora, Maryland who loves golf, has been married to her high school sweetheart since 1978 and gives her workouts her all, no matter what.

Feel free to drop us a comment below letting us know how you can relate to Lawrin’s story:

1) What are you looking forward to the most from Revival 2017?

“Seeing my R.I.P.P.E.D. Family and catching up. New Gear, Season 30 Live Shoot, and of course…RUMBLE!”

2) How has R.I.P.P.E.D. changed your life for the better?

“I started taking classes at my heaviest weight over 6 years ago. R.I.P.P.E.D. and the “D” helped me to initially loose 50 pounds. Since then I have been up and down in weight but R.I.P.P.E.D. has given me the tools and knowledge to get back on track when I slip and I am stronger and healthier because of it. I am 59 years old and still going strong with R.I.P.P.E.D.”

3) What are some of your fitness goals for this year?

“To get leaner with the “D” and to add more resistance and weight training to my routine to build muscle!”

4) What are some of the results you have seen since starting with R.I.P.P.E.D.?

“I am definitely stronger and fit. I have had good results with the Diet and Nutrition portion of the program and have proven to myself that a fitness program is NOT JUST in the gym. I have dropped pounds and inches just by changing my eating and keeping my workouts the same. When I do develop an injury, I am able to heal faster because of my fitness level. I am not able to do a lot of jumping anymore but even doing R.I.P.P.E.D. modified I still get an awesome workout.”

5) What was your first R.I.P.P.E.D. class and what did you love most about it?

“My first R.I.P.P.E.D. class was in November 2011, Season 3. I did not think I was going to make it through my first class. But the workout is designed such that anyone at any fitness level can achieve success and because if that I was able to push myself a little bit at a time and still get a great workout. Before too long I realized that I was getting stronger and found myself challenging myself more and more. A year after taking my first class I became a certified R.I.P.P.E.D. Instructor and I am still taking and teaching classes today. I love that the R.I.P.P.E.D. formula is designed so that anyone at any fitness level can achieve success with their fitness goals. 6) What master trainers are you most excited to meet at this year’s Revival and why? Amy Wilson. Amy and I connected at the last Revival. We became friends on FB before she was a MT. She wasn’t able to attend the last Revival but she really wanted some of the new gear that was available. So I told her to give me her sizes and I would pick up some things for her. Even though we had never met I was more than happy to do that for a fellow R.I.P.P.E.D. Fan. We have been communicating through FB ever since and I was so excited when she became an MT. She has been doing an amazing job as our R-2-F Coach and I was SO excited when I found out that she will be my Color Team Captain along with Hallie Hemric. I can’t wait to meet all of the MTs, those I have already met and those I have not.”
