Support and Success: R.I.P.P.E.D. Family Members Share Their Stories

If there’s one AMAZING and INCREDIBLE phenomenon about R.I.P.P.E.D., it’s the #RIPPEDFAMILY!

When you walk into your first R.I.P.P.E.D. or Rumble class, you might not know what to expect.

Fitness is an incredible journey for us all. We all have the same destination: health, wellness, and happiness, but we each take different paths.

If you attended R.I.P.P.E.D. Revival, you might have heard things like, “Wow, I never knew that about you” or “I had no idea.”   As close to a family as we are, there’s always more to know about each other.

After all, we push each other in class. We support each other through the tough spots.   Most importantly, we care about each other outside of class.

If you are new to R.I.P.P.E.D., we want to share the stories of some of the dedicated R.I.P.P.E.D. members. Some have been with us for years; others are just a few classes in.

Elizabeth Webster Young teaches R.I.P.P.E.D. at the Campbell County YMCA in Kentucky. She says, “R.I.P.P.E.D. keeps me SANE and helps me be a better person/mommy. I’ve grown so much since I started R.I.P.P.E.D. a few years ago! Stronger and more confident!”

Melody Keasling teaches R.I.P.P.E.D. classes with friend Cindy Weber in Tennessee. She says, “Since starting R.I.P.P.E.D. in 2015, I have met personal goals in my running, and I also ventured out of my comfort zone and became an instructor in Feb. 2016. Going from never teaching a class by myself to helping. I have since gotten a job teaching and know I can do more than I ever thought I could. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without my fellow R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor and mentor Cindy.”

Angela Fortson takes R.I.P.P.E.D. classes in Arkansas. She praised ‪Kristy McElroy‪ saying, “Kristy is an amazing instructor! She has such enthusiasm and determination that is contagious. She loves everyone that attends her classes and truly misses them when they have to miss. Stephanie Thomas Belden is newly certified and has taken on a few of us to both help her become a better instructor and for us to be able to get another workout in. She also has such enthusiasm and determination that keeps me going. She’s been one of my workout partners for a couple of years now and without her I’d have given up. Both of these women are very inspiring! R.I.P.P.E.D. has enabled me to lose inches and pounds and to be finally at a point that I love my body and admire my own muscles. I am stronger and more confident!‬”

Of course, you know the R.I.P.P.E.D. family and the love! Kristy had her own praise to shower down on Melody and others from class.

She says, “Angela Fortson– you rock star ‬‪⭐!! I love you girl! Thanks for the shout out! I am blessed by you and your friendship! So thankful that R.I.P.P.E.D. has brought such positive changes in your life. You find the drive. You find the determination. You show up and put in the work!!! I am so proud of you and your accomplishments!!! And I am very blessed to be on this journey WITH YOU!”

Kristy then added, “Billie Barnes, Kelly E Ikner, Jon Moore, Kerri Moore, Shuman Rachel, Debbie Grizzell, Laura Anderson-Jones, Melissa Yendra Minard, Deborah Lutz, Lisa Armstrong Douglas, Stephanie Thomas Belden….. these are just a FEW of the people I have personally witnessed that R.I.P.P.E.D. Has brought about positive changes in their lives. I LOVE it because it truly is for everyBODY! I love ‬‪❤️ the energy that this class brings. I love the challenges that it brings! It challenges you where you are and allows you to grow in strength and confidence! My favorite part of class is seeing “high fives and smiles!” Love that I have met so many people through this program and so many of us are supportive of each other and have never met in person except on social media, and the fact that Tina Shorter and Terry Shorter are so involved…. no other program has this! I love my #rippedfamily‬.”

Lawrin Walker lives in Maryland.  She says, “I was first introduced to R.I.P.P.E.D. in 2011 with Season 3. I was so out of shape but the options and modifications provided made me feel so strong, and I was hooked. I kept going to classes, started seeing results I was getting fitter and a year later I was certified to teach. I still love this program and still teach. I have met so many incredible friends through R.I.P.P.E.D. and am blessed to have R.I.P.P.E.D. in my life ❤️

Jennifer Ruble Mccarthy came to her first R.I.P.P.E.D. class at the urging of her cousin, Kate Zembrodt! She talks about the transformation of taking her first class to being an instructor to an area in the country where there were no classes!

She says, “R.I.P.P.E.D. has challenged me!! I was certified in August in Bloomington, Indiana. After being introduced July 3rd to R.I.P.P.E.D. I fell in love!!! I have become the first instructor in NW Ohio. Right now I have 3 classes each week and growing. My life has become something I never could have imagined. I want to continue to learn, grow and teach my R.I.P.P.E.D. family here just how amazing it can be!! How it can strengthen and transform you. As a Weight Watchers leader and now R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor I get to see transformations in both diet, fitness, and mindset. Thank you to my cousin Kate Everett Zembrodt for the initial introduction to the amazing program. Thank you to my dual master trainers Amy Wilson and Priscilla Barnes. Love you ladies for all your knowledge and support!! #rippedfamily‬”
